Uninstalling wxwidgets

Hi!

I would have expected 'port uninstall wxwidgets' and 'port -f clean --
all wxwidgets' to remove all files from the directories /opt/local/
lib etc., but this is not the case. Everything remains. Even the
command wx-config works as before.
Should it be this way? Wow can I REALLY clean out this installation?

Are you sure wx-config is the DP version at that point? 10.4 also
has a wx install:

$ type wx-config
wx-config is /usr/bin/wx-config

If it is the DP one, what does 'port provides /opt/local/bin/wx-
config' say?

I suspect I must have screwed up the installation, possibly
interfering with an old manual installation using make install.
I will try to clean out everything manually, reinstall and then re-
uninstall.
If it still fails, I will get back with a new post.

Did you try running with "sudo" in front of the line?

If that doesn't work, add the -v parameter after -f and post the output.
